  2. No, it's not reasonable. 1) he is lying; 2) appeasement of aggressors never works - it's perceived as weakness and ignored.

  3.  @johnm2871  I do use "that thing" (it's telling, you can't even name it). It seems memory is playing tricks on you, or you are buying into Trump's BS claims of what he supposedly has done, instead of comparing what he actually has done vs his promises vs what were the results of that (like the dependency on trade with China grew as the consequence, despite the intended target being the contrary). I recall insane amounts of paperwork found in the office after Trump has left, because he preferred to play golf |(at the expense of tax payers) instead of doing his job, thus it got neglected.
