Horrible story, but what's done is done.
Funny, how when you read novels or watch, everything seems so clear - common, you like each other, you should get together for that "happily ever after", but it's not like that in real life, when you yourself are a part of it. I was madly in love with a girl since I was 11-12 y.o., she was one of my classmates. But then I as secondary school years came (which is from age 15 or 16 to age 17-18, depends if you are both in the first half of the year or the second one), I switched to another school (primary was specialized in music, while that secondary school was all about mathematics, physics, informatics etc), not because parents made me do it, I did it myself. A couple of years ago, after playing a romantic visual novel and then talking about it on forums with other guys, like a lot, since it had really deep impact on many people, then I realized, that if my life was a novel or movie, I'd scream at the main protagonist: "What are you doing? You love her, you should stay together!" But nothing like that in real life, nothing, no second thoughts until that very moment a few years ago.
