@PVAPPE You are welcome! Just don't get that impression like Kremlin wants to go to war. They might be dreaming of great conquests and victories, but guys in military must realize, that Russia isn't in shape for any open war. But that craving for attention... Let's just say, it has made Putin a laughing stock. He desperately wants to be with "the big guys". So state controlled media (which is almost all big media in Russia) makes a big fuss if Trump has "met" Putin while passing through a lobby.

@PVAPPE Kremlin doesn't say that directly, that's true. But they have that sentiment, as if they haven't been paid the attention and respect they have "earned" by... by what and for what? Basically, that's a manifrstation of the sense of entitlement with no real basis to it. Also there are a lot of revanchist tendencies for lost Cold War, craving "to get even", for a payback to the West. Think of it as something like 1920s Germany, which led to the rise of Nazis. The closest to "hurt feelings" that have been said out loud was a phrase in Putin's Munich speech - "you didn't listen to us before, listen now then!"
