  1. WoW, CCP really are a bunch of shitheads! I grew up in a country occupied and incorporated into USSR, KGB was still around back then. I've seen and participated in anti-Soviet demonstrations (my mom took me there, as I was a little teenager in 1980s), at least one of them was so big, some 20% (500k of 2,5M) of local population participated in it. When some shootings and repressions started, unarmed people built barricades in an attempt to protect parliament and local government from possible Soviet Army and militia attacks. We got lucky, regional Soviet commander must have lockooked at the numbers and said: "fuck that, I'm not doing this!", thus there were only dozens, not hundreds or thousands of people killed. Now we got democracy. And we are wealthier than ever before. Well, still poor by European standards, as the Soviet era didn't pass without leaving some scares. But... damn, no massacres were needed to keep order and ensure prosperity! I wonder if those assholes in Chinese government buy their own bullshit and sincerely propose such lame excuses or are they just covering their asses?
