Well, I can speak in at least two languages fluently (my English, which is sort of my 3rd one, I believe, isn't all that bad too) and almost at the same level, but I have an accent in both languages, even my native one. XD Well... at least I have no troubles switching between three languages, when I need to use English, I just use it, instead of thinking a phrase out first in my mother tongue and then translating it.

In theory, English lessons at school started when I was 12yo, but in reality there were at least 1 1/2 years, when we had no lessons at all, so I really got into it only after secondary school, when I was around 19-21. Besides in school t felt like there is no need for English, it was back in USSR era, my native language and Russian was enough to communicate with everyone and anyone I knew.
