I don't know who was it, but the only common trait I've noticed among serial killers, they tend to be boring nobodies, often quite stupid generally, even if they are cunning and able to fool people for a while. Therefore I don't usually read or watch anything about them - it's all plain boring; what is interesting, is how they get tracked down. So, my answer is - I don't really care who was it, as it's really likely, "Jack" was some asshole, who hasn't done anything noticeable, except his "achievements" as a murderer.
