  1. I think tose so called "critics" of "the Prince" are just stupid. I found the book very entertaining. First, I love his no BS approach. Second, he actually said, if people are happy with the ruling regime, the ruler will be most safe, as any attempt to depose him will be met with absolute hostility from the public, and likely will lose power right away, even if their coup or assassination succeeds. Sure, that's not the only way, one can also use fear, lies and genocide, but actually making people content is the most preferable option. Just not "content" and "happy" in a populist manner by spending too much, which would ruin the state and bring trouble, just look at Venezuela!
