  1. Well, welfare might be somewhat generous in US (but not in all cases I think). Where I live welfare doesn't even reach so called "survival minimum" which is approx. 380$ officially and much higher in reality. You ar only counted as poor if you earn under ~80$, while we have European prices. So you just don't really understand how lucky are people living in US... as far as they don't fell ill and have no insurance.
