  1. Yes, that got to be because lives are getting relatively easy. There are real issues, like fair wages, social security, tax rates, healthcare, funding of science, education and infrastructure, but those are complex, complicated issues well above the reach of simpletons, thus they turn to something simple on both - left and right wing - fighting "socialism", becoming SJWs, fighting "fake news" while producing them themselves and other shit. It's like autoimmune disease - when there are little or no contaminants around, body might literally start to eat itself.
