Well, by UN definition everyone under 18 years is a kid, so it actually depends on which kid exactly it is. 8D I started with air guns when I was... well, I don't remember, but that's one of my earliest memories, my grandma learned me to shoot. We didn't had one of our own, but back then in USSR there were plenty of small air gun shootin' places (and military lessons in secondary schools and universities too where they taught how to assemble AK, since that country needed a lots of soldiers).
