I don't know if that's a worldwide tradition, but Baltic and Scandinavian anti-aircraft artillery guys have a tradition - if target gets direct hit, not just some close one, and target destroyed or detached from the towing cable and falls, squad that scored gets a cake and two bottles of whiskey.
