I'm not surprised at all. I love guns, but some people on arms community are plain idiots, who love to scream "damn Commies are coming after our guns!!!!" or something similar along those lines. So yes, I got that it was an advice in buying a good, but damaged gun really cheap, and a warning to owners, but not everybody saw it like that.
