  1. I wonder why semi-automatic revolvers seem to be so over-engineered? I'd imagine a simple rod/slider running from muzzle to hammer. Maybe a muzzle device would be needed like on "Garand" or one akin to "Maxim" machine gun, or a gas mechanism like on "Desert Eagle", to ensure reliable cycling.
