  1. Isn't the fact, that Tolkien cared to put a lot of exceptions to his conlings an indication that he was somewhat biased by his native English? Not all languages have many exceptions, I believe (I'm not a linguist, though) my native Latvian has very, very few exceptions besides modal verb "to be"/"to have" and the verb "to go".
