Buying diesel made perfect sense, if one had long daily commute, but that is not my case, besides I did not want issues with injectors, so common on diesels, and my wife can't stand diesel exhaust. If I had a lot of money, I'd buy a hybrid or an EV, but as of now, I got an old gasoline car.
