  2. US nuclear doctrine (what actually is relevant here) state clearly that for US there is not distinction between tactical and strategical nukes. So they would retaliate no matter what stupid excuse Putin make. Simple fact is that Putin can start nuclear war when he get constipation. And Russian nuclear doctrine exist exactly to avoid unnecessary confusion. Where Putin's "tactical" nuke scaring go against whole point of this document, making it to look like braindead Hearts of Iron 4 move (so assuming that enemies act automatically and would not react on bending the rules). What obviously is ridiculous thing to do. Only scary part is that Russians actually may be that dumb.

  3. Yeh. Putin can declare himself king of the Mars, if he pleases. Those ridiculous attempts to forge fake claims, are signs of dementia in my opinion.
