All
They aren't. Entire buzz is generated by BRICS fanboys.
230
@Silver_Prussian They also have border war and are in state of cold war.
208
@Silver_Prussian And China also do not fake its economy numbers (sarcasm).
90
Those are basically Russian colonies at this point.
57
Most important thing about Stalin, is that most fanboys do not even know his actual name. It is Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili.
34
I only know that you are ruled by Potato King.
30
@BragaLodo It is actually quite simple. Any rich person in poor country would be like semi noble. But only complete looser would actually do that for illusion of popularity.
23
@JustSpectre Most of cheese is processed and should not cause issues, until you eat some crazy french mold cheese (what area actually really good). In fact most of Europe can't drink raw milk. Mostly Northern/Central European people.
17
Yeh... can't deny that.
14
@Bogdan_Vader Russia occupy half of they land. Karelia ye Finland!
13
@Silver_Prussian They elected people who neglected European MIC and now Muscovite invade. Coincidence?
11
@TurquazCannabiz I mean. Cyprus is not in NATO. D'oh!
9
@michaelrenper796 He did read history books. Where USSR defeat Nazis on they own.
8
Regard Balts. It should be noted that they aren't Slavs. So despite the fact that they are obviously in East Europe. Lithuanians and Latvians were completely separate tribes and Estonians are basically Fins who end on wrong side of the sea (It was part of Sweden in the past). So they are similar case to Armenians, who are European state what just happen in on wrong side of Black Sea. PS: In recent years, Poles also become notorious beer drinkers.
8
@Koozomec Russians lie about they numbers
7
@Waristheonlyanswer But that was the case. Poles didn't Polonize Lithuanians. Lithuanian nobility Polonized. Hell! Piłsudzki was Lithuanian himself! Before WW2 most border disputes were already solved. Creation of third crown would give equal rights to Ruthenian, but it never happened.
6
@xavras06 Technically "Polish" nobles who oppress Cossack, were Ruthenian themselves. Like Radziwiłł or Wiśniowiecki (last Rurics). It was conflict between nobles and peasants, not the nations. Poles didn't Polonize Lithuanians either. It was Lithuanian nobility who Polonized. Even Piłsudzki was technically Lithuanian. Prior to WW2 most border disputes were already solved.
5
@KunDziki Just wait on female Popes.
5
Yes. Asiatic brothers.
4
@ WW2 was complicated. Remember that Soviets also started in alliance with Hitler, when they together invaded Poland.
4
It should be pointed out that word "Polish" should be used with grain of salt in case of Commonwealth. In reality many nobles and magnates, were not actually Poles but polonized Ruthenians and Lithuanians. Like Radziwiłł were of Lithuanian origin, when Ostrogscy and Wiśniowiecki families were of Ruthenian origin. In fact they were last Ruriks. And if anything they did oppress Cossacks. Though Commonwealth was at the time a mess, while Polish lands were usually calmer.
4
You make small mistake. It was Hungary, who was devastated by Mongols, who sheltered Cumans. With Poland suffering moderate damage to southern provinces, as part of shaping attack. Later Poland defeat two Mongol invasions lead by Batu Khan (first was technically called off due to death of Great Khan) but the other one was major victory for Poland. After which Mongols ceased attacks on Europe. I assume you coincidentally switched pictures there?
4
Poland is quite specific, because half of Poles is actually extremely tolerant and progressive (Poland A), when other half is extremely conservative and homophobic (Poland B). And only reason we didn't end in civil war is because we all equally hate Russia.
4
Wait... so Ancient Dacian were actually Transylwania? Hyh... I was only joking that Poland has similar legends of hidden alien bases in Carpathian mountains! But it is wort to mention that for a time Poland was ruled by Transylvanian Prince Stephan Batory. Who BTW was cousin of famous Elizabeth "Bloody Contess" Batory. Yes, the famous vampire. What is especially interesting considering that myth of Upior or as they are more known Vampires. Is actually of Polish origin, as proper burial is important part of Polish culture. Though Upiors do not drink blood, this may be related to infamous Polish dish we not speak about. Bram Stoker basically mix legends from entire East Europe. Speaking of that Werewolf's are actually Lithuanian Shamans and completely unrelated... Frankenstein city is also in Poland! Anyway. Wounder if there is a connection here? It is literally the same mountain chain. lol
3
In the end they are just confused Poles (that is a joke, to be clear)
3
Honestly in this election they should run Vladimir Putin against Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Putin...
3
@Esm_Psevdonimov Finland case is special. They basically didn't have other option as Allies could not aid them. Soviet Union planed global conquest. It is still aim of the Russia.
3
@Silver_Prussian You mean Mongol Empire legacy? There is literally nothing Roman in Russia. Russia didn't even exist when Byzantium fall, has no relations with them (unlike Ukrainians) and after Ivan the Terrible married some Greek princes and self proclaimed himself Cezar (Tzar). He then kill his hair and plunge country in civil war. I mean Romanov were Germans, so that all what was Roman there.
3
@rōnin_963 They were what people pretend cowboys were. Cossack were actual warrior farmers.
3
@L2Xenta In Poland that is also a meme. Poles do see themselves as Western nation, who just happen most of its family are criminals, even if they were adopted by West in 10'th century. And so generally prefer to be called as Central Europe. But most people is not actually offended, as historically it was East Europe.
2
@ahnafryan5536 Example?
2
@Yalbou NATO don't include colonies.
2
Depend who you ask, they are on crossroads.
2
@MegaJani And now Russia divided them. F Orban!
2
TBH Estonia is way closer to Finland then Russia
2
@Handri_Ismael 5°C isn't that bad
2
Heroes 3, Worms Armagedon and Jazz Jackrabbit 2. Good times, good times.
2
Neh. Most countries have own equivalent. American Country Music, Disco-Polo, Gangnam Style, etc.
2
He is not Hun-Garian.
2
It should be pointed out that Piłsudzki was Lithuanian. So it was his fault.
2
@jamegumb7298 I mean. Putin's documents are quite interesting. I say no more.
2
Yes, he meant administrative occupation territory, not the Poland.
2
@ Which is why Lukashenko is so salty about Poland.
2
Minor mistake. In 6'th century Slaves moved FROM territory of Poland (Serbs technically from Germany). Presence of Slavs in this region was noted by Romans as far as first century. And Byzantine writers later confirm that "Sclavs" who arrived on Balkans, were in fact same people as Vistula Venedi (aka Wends). This was later ignored by Russian and Nazi propaganda for the exact opposite reasons. As so called "Russians" (Muscovy Orde) are in fact from Asia and only conquered actual Rus people (Ukrainians).
2
@adam1984pl He is from Balkans, so it is not a issue. He use historical definition. The problem is rather when Westerners use the term, not realizing that East Europe never was a singular entity, incorrectly defined as Russian colonies.
2
Kiosks actually were a thing in Poland not that far ago. But yeh. Żabka basically replaced them.
2
@themostbestwizard I know. I was addressing common opinion.
2
What bad we can say about Soviet Union. They actually were leading in promotion of Feminism and majority of Eastern European woman is actually highly independent no-nonsense types. Even if many is also clues mail wife's. I think this could come from fact that many modern Feminist on West, is the clueless types who blame man for own failures. While showing surface level of toxic feminism, while being entirely dependent on parents.
1
You mean Hungarians?
