  2. Minor side note. Toilet thing is mistranslation. It was not about toilets but central sewage. Almost all houses in Poland have toilets. But because Russia was straight not building savage systems. In many regions in East Poland, you still have classic septic tanks, what need to be cleaned with trucks. Though that also become gradually a thing of the past.

  3. Whole drunk Yeltsin is a Russian propaganda trying undermine his signature. The reason why he did signed it, was because Poland may or may not have nuclear program. Because it is not like we didn't make successful nuclear fusion. Anyway, don't ask about underground bases in mountains and mysterious earthquakes in one of most seismically inactive regions of planet. It is also why US did agree on Poland joining. And that is not a conspiracy theory. Poland officially is a nuclear capable state and also major provider of medical isotopes.
