  1.  @icarusproject  Minor nitpick. You confused Anszlus of Austria with Poland. Hitler sized Austria without firing a shot and with massive local support. What was kind off true in case of Crimea (even if "local support" was from deep Russia). Invasion of Poland resulted with massive losses to Wehrmacht and was successful only because alliance between Hitler and Stalin. Furthermore it result with official deceleration of war from side of France and UK. It is why Russian propaganda compare war on Ukraine with invasion of Poland, with claims of Russia fighting NATO. At least as far as they false narrative goes.

  2. Short answer is... Russia is not a Soviet Union! Khrushchev and Brezhnev were in fact Ukrainians. Russia is only good fighting horse raiders. Russian propaganda present invasion as Civil War, because in a sense it is.
