  1. There is also one another ethnic group fighting for Ukraine, what is not included in official statistics for practical reasons. One of largest groups of Foreign Legionnaires is actually from Russia! Best known are Free Novgorod Unit and Russian Volunteer Corps (there is also some number of deserters who switch side). It is also because they commonly perform saboteur operations in Russian territory.

  2.  @rowdybme4584  Fighting for Russia is illegal in the Russia. Technically all Russian PMC's and pro-Russian foreign volunteers could be prosecuted as criminals, after Putin go away.
