  11. Europe was sort of afraid in 2022. When Russian military still have some capacity. But people fail to understand that European demilitarization was largely response to lack of real threat from side of Russia. It is quite clear that US do not understand difference between USSR and Russia! At this point 3/4 of USSR cold war power IS on side of the West! Russia is in fact only largest third world country on the planet. Nuclear retaliation didn't change. Russia would not use nukes. If they even have them. Too many people in US watch Hollywood movies about Ruski Stronk memes!
