It is due to lack of education. Most Americans have no idea how world work and that make them easy targets for foreign bots, spreading disinformation in the social media.

@pgpython Vance is deliberately a Russian asset, repeating known Russian propaganda. Also Orthodox Church in Ukraine always was independent. But Russian Orthodox church operating in Ukraine, was taking hostile (and by all means heretical) actions against government. What forced legal actions against them. Anyone who claim that Ukrainians oppress Christians has straight rotten shit instead brain.

Daylight Savings make more sense in early 20'th century, when they were introduced. At the time people didn't really work at night too much and optimization of the work schedule to daylight make some sense. But! That become basically completely obsolete in second half of 20'th century, where most cities work 24/7 or even many industry work on the three shifts. And like in 21'th century that is straight bizarre annoyance!
