You should do episode about fact that knights, cowboys, pirates, samurai, musketeers and pioneers basically live in same era: Knights were still prominent in 16'th century, even if they switch from warriors into administrators. Wild West era begin with foundation of Jamestown in 1607. So yeh. It was actually paralel to Golden Age of Piracy between 1650 to 1680. Famous civil war in Japan (Sengoku-jidai) was until 1573 and some number of Samurai left the issues as result. Musketeer and they swashbuckling adventures were basically direct fallow up to knights. At least English part of Pioneer Era also begin at the same time. Many of early puritan colonist left UK as result of Cromwell revolution between 1653 until 1658. So yeh. XVI century go under radar, not because nothing happen. But because too much happen and people incorrectly assume those were separate eras.
