You are aware that War Thunder was made by Hungarians, who were catch sponsoring Russian terrorists? You can't assume that knowing WT or HoI4 make you a military expert. Creators do not admit that, but there is also factor of game balance. While people can debate about details, in the end it is just a video game.

@FirstDagger Original book was written by fighter mafia, what should tell you everything. To give movie a credit, it satirize main character as much as everyone else. They actually did give a clues in this movie that is the case. Like when one of mechanic point out that they use under powered round, exactly to check gradual effectiveness of the armor. Everyone already know that if it take a AP round while having full ammo, then it explode. Because those are things designed to destroy tanks.

@ImRanger Lol. Merkava do not do that. It can evacuate two people in emergency scenario (and you need throw away ammo for that). But it has back access because tank was designed to shot from reinforced stationary position. It was not a troop transport. And Bradley was not based on M113. Person who said that was a idiot.

@FirstDagger WarGaming is Belarusian, but they moved to Cyprus. Closing offices in Minsk and Russia, after war started. No complains about them. We do need remember that it is primarily a video game, And WoT overall is far less on simulator side then WT. You are in fact correct about Gaijin. Company was created by Russians. Though relatively fast moved to Germany and later Hungary. Most employees aren't of Russian origin, which is why connection of founders to terrorists was such big scandal. Anyway, suspecting them of bias is justified.

Russia can't make even own versions of some Soviet Era weapons. Also most of that is rather light or from 90's, excluding NATO versions of Soviet Era weapons. Honestly I'm not sure what is the point?

@good2goskee Russian assess absolutely are kicked out and not all Ukrainian units didn't even finished training. Only absolute child confuse territorial gains with the success. And not the spec ops, but guys with notepads. Unlike Russian occupied zone, most of Ukraine does not look like Cambodia.
