Also literally everyone know that despite one milion army of Russia, they actually can't move it. They have after all huge territory, several potentially hostile neighbors, internal ethnic tensions and potential risk of provoking NATO. And that assuming post-Soviet hardware can even work and post soldiers can use guns. Assuming that Putin in fact hold himself from mass shelling, it still doesn't explain lack of air superiority, with bombers going into actions after missile stockpiles started drying. Generally most of what actually has offensive combat value (expedition forces) was already deployed. According to US there are no signs of mobilizations of additional forces, only attempt to unclog machine in hope that Ukraine break fast enough. Lot of analytical data anyway.

In fact there is high probability that if Russia invade and fail to dominate Ukraine ending with next Afganistan (and Ukrainians are furious due to treason).   52. Another bulk of corrections. Polish law system absolutely does align with European. It was planned reform what was controversial and largely opposed in the Poland. Current Polish government is famously incapable, not only working with EU, but literally anyone. But Polish opposition is widely respected in the EU. Fortunately ongoing military reform was planed beforehand. One of things lot of people miss is that Poland plan produce CAMM, GMLRS and Abrams engines, which is why some deals seams sub-standard.   86. NATO is a defensive pact and so would not intervene on Ukraine (it didn't in Turkey as it technically was not attacked). Eventually some NATO countries can do that risking temporal exclusion from the protection, but that is rather unlikely. Still if Russia attack, it would trigger second Cold War and Nordic states would immediately join NATO. So realistically whole thing could be solved with soft power only, though Russia is unpredictable enough that anything can happen.
