(because as it is not that thing straight not exist, with space X launching hollow tanks as part of engine tests) Yes, there could be a cargo version of it, but at that point they could easily use rocket alone (which also doesn't exist yet). Anyway NASA do have few large scale rockets, they could resurrect if there would be need for that. So debating over starship strait make no sense. Main advantage of original space shuttles was that they could take stuff from space. As laughing capability was always there.

@denysvlasenko9175 Which is also applicable in modern times, what is probably main reason why Starship is not promoted as what it is. A space shuttle! Main problem with development of new space stations was not the technology, as we absolutely do have large rockets. It was lack of will.

@denysvlasenko9175 Only BS is assumption that Starship would be cheap. Bulk of cost in case of such projects is in the main rocket, which is why Blue Origin invest in reusable systems there. And for reminder Starship absolutely would use separate rocket of unknown properties, which is something fanboys clearly don't comprehend. Also do you have comprehension problems? You said literally the same thing about original Space Shuttle and I never disagreed. It was project doomed from the get go. So WTF? You are wannabee troll , aren't you?
