  1. I would have watched an episode or two of her show if it was about the ins and outs of how she sussed out the popular mood and took advantage of it as effectively as she did - which is to say, were it shot like a documentary of a heist that technically did not break any laws.

  2. seems more normal than I would have expected from a city with that high of a homicide rate. Young people in large and unofficial groups are going to commit hooliganism and vandalism. It's just a standard thing.

  5. $600 000 isn't that unreasonable, especially with New Jersey state taxes. I didn't realize the original story was in Philadelphia. Given she's a Starbucks manager, and given how high the Philadelphia homicide rate is, it was pretty unreasonable for Starbucks to hold her accountable for not getting nonpaying people to leave while simultaneously not backing her up when she involves the police. The low paying job that involves risking your life is convenience store clerk, not Starbucks manager.
