Men would walk 300 miles to the city where I grew to get the possibility of a day labor job. My grandmothers brother was building a skyscraper and fell 600 feet to his death for a $3.00/day job. He was a lawyer before that.

  4. If you want to thrive in a depression go into the medical field as a nurse or physician, robotics/mechanical engineering or own a trucking company.

  5. That’s not enough food. Plastic totes are better than nothing but your better off buying food grade buckets with gamma lids or glass jars with lids. Pantry moths will get into that tote and ruin everything in a week. One person needs 400lbs a grain a year, 60 lbs of beans, 10 quarts of cooking oil, 8lbs salt, 16 lbs of sugar for the average adult male for 1 year. 2,300 calories a day. You will be working harder and need more calories.

  6. Chicago, Houston & New Orleans will be burned down by looters. Lakes will dry out of fish due to over fishing in one year. You will be lucky to catch one fish a week. If you look like the blonde in the photo, which I doubt you will be a frequent victim of assault. You won’t make it through a real SHTF situation.

  7. James Curran I am a Rapid Response Nurse in Texas. Multiple people in reasonable health are dying. I have a 40 bed ICU completely filled with COVID19 patients on ventilators and 7 have no medical history and are not obese.
