Godse has explained why he killed Gandhi? We didnt get Independence because of any mass movement. No one has. Muslims were fighting for Pakistan. Dalit also didnt participated. Muslim league too. Similarly not even congress etc. No one, except probably Subhash Chandra Bose. Gandhi is not father of any nation. Two Nation Theory existed even before Savarkar born. He opposed Two Nation Theory. Because Gandhi whole political movement was against partition to the extend that even delayed Independence by 15 -20 yrs. Gandhi also demanded partitioning of Buddhist Majority states like Burma, later Tibet and Sri Lanka. Gandhi said he would not let Pakistani to be there and it would be on his dead body. Gandhi also proposed by appeasing Muslims, partition can be avoided. Nothing like that happened. Savarkar didnt kill Gandhi.
