  13. That is called Matya Naya which is against Dharma (the basis of human survival). Survival of fittest is not what you mentioned and think. It is complex. Human also look for meaning and for some that can be self-sacrifice. I may be wrong but I think what you have mentioned probably happened in Arab world most likely after coming of Islam that let to wipe of all intellectuals.
