@mrsleep0000 Or when there is a shortage of unskilled labour, which is currently not the case. Migrant workers these days are often the elite fastest pickers you could imagine. So don't assume you could cut it.

Jimmy Dore's comment on this seeming China-esque may not consider that China has raised the most people out of poverty in the last decades than has ever been accomplished in human history. Those who rely on their jobs at MacDonald's and expect to have food and housing often work two jobs these days. My cousin, the teacher, doesn't fault them for sometimes not having books or time to read to their children. Maybe OSHA could develop standards for "will this life create fatalities?"
