fynes leigh It seemed useful to point out that there are more than millions of people in China. It was the first number I pulled off the internet and appeared to originate from the World Bank. I have heard the population of China as 1.3 from many sources over time, so I had that general sense. According to the World Bank, there are some 1.38 billion people in China. It is more an easily looked-up fact than statistical skullduggery. Numbers will vary slightly, but Wikipedia puts the number at 1.428 billion. I stand corrected. There sure are a lot of people in China.

fynes leigh The internet is full of people finding each other absurd bordering on insane. Including me. Who would go to war over the exactness of such a large number?? I am glad to be corrected when mkstaken.

@William SinghtWow. Just having looked it up, I should be surprised to never have heard it before, but I am not. I guess it wasn't on the news or somehow I missed it. But wouldn't it have been a huge story? What does that have to do with COVID-19? Evidence that we should not be going about calling other countries liars when we tell lies ourselves. Also, China didn't lie unless they all raised their voices in unison and told us the lie.

@andrewdevine3920 I haven't seen the evidence, yet that is my impression. Time will tell as more research sees the light of day.

@andrewdevine3920 I have watched several of his prior videos and found him highly articulate, Andrew Devine. Making stuff up to incite contempt for people doesn't fit that category.
