Thanks. I have spent weeks watching videos to understand the geopolitics of Ukraine/Russia and this one of the best.

Adorable, right? Young people.

@shafferd90 Some falsely claim that our Constitution does not support free speech. If we go along, it won't. It sounds cheesy, Daniel Shaffer, but I became an American after reading the Constitution. Planners get their legal authority to "protect the public health, safety, and welfare" from precise things about the way it has been written and interpreted in subsequent precedent setting court decisions. Many people don't see how big that is.

That is sometimes required, LibertyMatrix. As an urban planner, I met many types of environmentalists, from the geniuses who thought up the Citizens Growth Management Initiative to the guy who offered us getting his environmentalists to go away for a fee. Even my favorite had a taxidermized desert tortoise that he carried in a bag to pose in the foreground of his slide presentations. I thought that was smart. There are risks to any energy source. If one zooms out and looks at all the factors that influence the future, the risks in disposing of nuclear waste are minimal compared to stopping these wars over energy or global warming. We might develop a better way to do things someday but appear to be on a speeding train.

I had not thought of it as either engineering or science, Neville Lusimba. As engineering, I have been impressed because it was debatable if we could emulate human speech very well only decades ago. I have wondered if this will increase our understanding of language, but I may have been oversimplifying.

@nicolasdelaforge7420 That sounds far-fetched. That's awful. But that reminds me of the far larger picture you told me you were about to paint for me years ago. I will look into this, as much as I can from a house in Canada. Thanks for the tip.

@deanerhockings-reptilianhu8701 This worries me. I have watched a lot of YouTube in the last five years and learned many things. In this process, my political views have changed. Could this be done deliberately based on my personality? When I think of how the Trump campaign used algorithms to identify some people's neurosis and target ads that were effective in scaring them to vote a certain way, it seems like there are potentials for manufacturing consent or revulsion to control the masses. I may be unduly paranoid. After learning about the surveillance state on YouTube.

@joshuarominger7170 I saw this come out in different ways in both of my sons. It is adorable, right?

"You've raped them because they are wearing a short skirt?" Yikes. Smart person, stupid argument?

@OmmerSyssel Exellent points. I mentioned it, as I was guessing incorrect popular perception might be making it untenable at times.
