@spidey6868 I have noticed that this a lot lately. War censorship?
22
@Scrat335 After working in government for years, sometimes it is simple incompetance. Out of any hundred people there are varying abilities.
20
Here he is with meticulous facts and analysis, as usual, Penny Armstrong. We are fortunate.
19
Alexander is intelligent, but there is much rambling nonsense to sift through. Flotsam and jetsam. This is superior in focus, Vali Tino.
14
You are correct, Andrew W. Some may not see it that way until they absorb the facts of these matters.
11
He is an outstanding analyst, Johannes de Silento.
10
@stoa7302 It appears so.
10
This is excellent. I would like to hear every war given this kind of a "Smedley Butler" logistical analysis. First, we have to reach agreement on the facts.
9
@azharidris7092 I have watched them for years. Walking encyclopedias of political analysis.
9
Ben Norton is pretty good, too. I am not sure that it isn't a good idea to have many vying for king of doing anything well?
9
Recently, Scott Ritter made a point about Ukrainian soldiers that could be more quickly trained on unfamiliar weapons if they had a background in training for other weapons. This made me wonder what portion of the Ukrainian fighters have had military training, as I have heard reports that they armed civilians as some other portion of the effort.

A lot more peope wil die.Them?
8
Why would they be interested in escalating the war, hej la4?
7
It's hard to argue with the precision of air photo interpretation, as used by geographers and the military, Mario V.
6
@sovietred7371 , Which also starts some wars.
6
@paveldimitrov2830 I too am impressed.
6
@lejeurusse1701 At least he is brilliant at international diplomacy.
6
I am surprised to ever agree with the Rand team. Surprising.

I hope you also discuss loans that have been restructured after a default so they would not fail and what seems the liklihood; will China trap debtor nations in servitude as we and other colonialists do, or do they have different objectives. A new vibrant economy for many countries and people. If so, would some be treated differently than others in ways that invite speculation? Which do you think? I am about to watch. :)
4
That may be suspect, as there are plenty of methamphetamines being made right here. It reminds me of a woman who once told me that a "boatload" of Fentynl from China was intercepted. Or, it could be based on accurate data?
4
My guess would be that he has a wide variety of sources, Michael olabisi Raheem.
4
Pausable with only some of the facts revealed, though.
4
It could happen, Moggtidge. He would be excellent.
3
Occam's razor, Hamish Bash. Beautiful, correct?
3
I have been wishing someone would do that, Fiddler Tipsy.
2
@Shenzhou. :)

Thanks for covering this. I have been giving UNHCR $100 a month since I saw "The Human Flow," made by Ai Weiwei, which is a compelling documentary on the migrant crisis. At the very worst, I thought, it would be ineffectual. The person on the phone told me that they were giving the money to the families of Afgan refugees, as they would best know how to help them. I wonder if I ask them for an accounting of what they have done with the money I sent them, what they will say? It hardly seems worth it? I have been a chump, I think, though.

@kashifmalhan4384 In October 2003, Khamenei issued a fatwa forbidding the production of weapons of mass destruction. Later, in 2005, this was cited in an official statement by the Iraninan Government at International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna.
2
Maybe it's something with the military., Andrew W. Colonel Wilkerson often appears with a picture on the wall behind him that appears to represent courtly love; with the man on bended knee becoming a knight.
2
@kirklandday He seems like he was born to do this. He gets so caught up in it that it makes him compelling to watch.
2
That coincided with the beginning of the decline of America's golden age, George Sais.
2
It would make us leave them alone, but they have a Fatwa against developing them. They decided this, not us.
2
I have always found Brian credible, Jack Gordon. He takes an almost scientific approach to his analysis.
2
If you try to be objective, it just gets more confusing, Eric. This is excellent and helpful.
1
It's astonishing that Congress has both supported and condemned the Azov Regiment and nobody bothered to call them on it? Thanks for reporting on this.
1
@smithsamson7342 Now, what?
1
@kaizenpsy8259 I don't think Russian propaganda would call for NATO reinforcements.
1
How can private firms get shopping personal behavioural data on employees? Is that available here? There is possible money to be made in exploiting the psychological weaknesses of demographics. Should there be government protections?
1
Could Wikileaks be defined as "open source intelligence?"
1
So, if we don't have a legal system to stop them, what might work, Mir_Peace?
1
That's a great pen name, Brian.
1
@pixelside Are you me in a paralell universe, Niklas Munch? And I think I am a good person.
1
The advantage being that if you get them all in a room, some lies are so egregious that it is likely to help a bit. They have to "fess up" even if it's just not saying anything. Then, they send the intergovs, who have been watching your every move the entire time, if they are any good. Niklas Munch.
1
@pixelside Same here.
1
@pixelside Planning and journalism have a lot in common.
1
@pixelside Once in a while, that's called for. The APA COde of ethics leaves room for some original thinking. There is the consensus that is written at meetings and quite a bit of "wiggle room" in how the planner could (as a thought experiment) could write up the facts, and come up with many alternate different "findings and recommendations." My dad always told me "bullshit baffles brains." He didn't mean lying, but there are a lot of presentations one could do. Like that model. The information was correct and we knew it without a model, but the model convinced the DVV Planning Committee by using a model that they didn't understand but assumed that Leslie and I did. The PD could have saved a lot of money by just doing a fake model (as a thought experiment), but there were always those few intellectuals watching. Mistakes like that can be quantified.
1
Methodical, Dr. Ronald Cutburth.
1
@nb7204 If they were up to something like that, why would they let us see it?
1
Saint FluffySnow Canuk baiter.
