Thanks. My great-grandma was from Galacia and once confided that she was Bohemian. My grandma on the other side said, "I'm from Poland." My Ukrainian grandpa and the kids would then say, "No, you aren't. You are Ukrainian." She should know where she comes from. This sheds some light. I wonder about intergenerational trauma. None of them would talk about "the old country" much.
