It would be a treat to see John Meirshiemer debate someone with a different one as credible, but have my doubts that there is such a person.

  8.  @antipropo461  I would like to read the fine print on the Nordstream 2 approval process that stalled at our request even though construction was almost completed. Russian and European investors would not have spent those billions on without being fairly certian it would become operational. Nobody could be expected to honour a contract if prevented by a war.

  11. I am not so sure I would rather be bombed, Thomas Chua. Bioweapons are of limited military use but are sometimes made up by the other side for the grisly images they can put in the public mind when instigating a war. Goos thing the Russians will not use them.

  20.  @adamiskandar5107  Some believe that any country that became the single global hegemon would do the exact same thing, and that having a peer competitor in China will change their capacity. History provides evidence for this theory. In the interest of global peace, I hope it happens sooner rather than later.
