  1. My wife is Asian and I can verify this is true. What I am struggling with is my wife’s belief that all she needs to do is work very hard and that’s motherhood done. She never speaks to her daughter so I have to be dad and mum. Plus, I earn $220K a year but according to my wife we are extremely poor - not like the 3 people she’s deliberately singled out on Facebook who apparently have a better life. Basically he entire life is snooping on other people’s lives and feeling aggrieved I’m not a millionaire. I left school at 16 with no quals and was raised in a dysfunctional alcoholic family and I think I did really well. She thinks I’m a loser and we aren’t doing well at all. Just seems the Asian vibe is to be completely ungrateful and entitled. I would leave but guess what the courts would do to be? The patriarchal system we live in sure does seem to screw over decent dads. Basically I’d spend the next 20 years funding her. Of course; in their minds this isn’t possible. Fathers are deadbeat and lazy. I hope in 50 years people can see this injustice for what it is but for now they won’t lift an inch to help fathers like me, not when there’s boardroom jobs they can focus on getting themselves into.
