Toyotas are not reliable. ๐ค
Iโll add this to the discussion. My 2022 Corolla Hybrid is the first model year of this car. Has it been reliable?
Battery went out at 20,000 but I noticed it was having issues at 10,000. Toyota replaced it under warranty. Now the car has almost 60K on the odometer and I havenโt had one issue with the battery or charging system.
Engine oil interval is 10,000. Other than the initial 2 oil changes Toyota did under warranty. I have replaced the oil at 5,000 miles religiously! Sometimes at 4,500 miles to make sure I didnโt miss this interval. I havenโt had one issue with the engine. No leaks, squeaks, ticks, or picks. Heck I donโt even see black stuff coming out when I change the oil. ๐
Now for things that have acted up other than the battery.
The screen randomly shuts and reboots. In 2 years itโs done this about 5 times. ๐
Other items, there are none. Itโs been that good of a car.
I am glad that Amir posted this video. It does show the state of our current world. I do wish I could get a Toyota for less than 20,000 in the USA but I think those times are gone. ๐ข
