One of your best videos of Up to Speed. I didn’t know Pagani was an Argentinian. Glad, he never quit. I’m also glad you all never quit making videos. I am excited to see what’s next.

WOW, this is one of the most interesting history lessons I have ever had. I am blown away that this company has had such a terrible history as far as ownership and money is concerned. And, even with all that. I would buy an Aston Martin. (:

I wasn’t surprised by the Tide. The expensive bacterial system was a surprise.

One of your best yet. Glad, to see your history of MazdaSpeed went very deep. I was very entertained for almost 20 minutes.

LOL, I've meet a few Europeans that do nothing but shame any vehicle that isn't European.

Okay so almost 10 minutes of history. Is a nice! That’s what made this episode worth it. Learning the roots and where Porsche pulled the engines from. Plus, why the cars were developed. Great show Humphrey.

This is by far one of your best videos. Your research about this company is of the highest quality. I am glad to be a subscriber. Thank you to you and your team.

I would have never known this about the name. As I don't study engines that much. But thanks to a wonderful production house in LA, I now know. Thank you so much guys. I will forward this video to all my Mopar pals. (:

Amazing. I am not an “purist”. What I care about is seeing people completing a car they have a passion to do. Thank you James.

Absolutely one of the most amazing cars ever made. I have always liked the Lexus LS cars. I like that engine so much, that it's my engine of choice for a swap. Smoothest V8, I have ever driven and the way it delivers power is unlike any other V8 out there. Yes, they aren't the most powerful V8's out there, but it's how they go about doing their job that makes them amazing engines. I also want an LS 400 as a daily car one day. (:

I have never liked old Volkswagens, until I got to ride in an old Scirocco. It wasn't amazing in the acceleration department. The owner however, could throw it around like it was a go-kart. He did crash it eventually, but it was still fun to drive around in that car.

Another great video with all the background research needed to make a full story. I have never cared about pronouncing names correctly. Most people respect you for doing your best to pronounce their name correctly. The fact that you’re attempting Humphrey, is more then enough. Keep the great videos coming.

Beautiful story, I never knew that Honda's son was the OG owner of Mugen.
228
I will never forget the first time I swapped an open diff for an LSD. I was blown away how much more power I was able to put down and how much sooner. That's a phenomenal upgrade if you are serious about driving. For the street on the other hand??? I don't know if it is worth it. As I don't see a reason to drive that spirited on street roads. Maybe I am just older now. ;)

That EA contract makes sense now. I was wondering why we got RUF cars in Gran Turismo. They were obviously Porsche cars. LOL

I have to admit I really like James. If Bruce, was to stay on as a part time host? I wouldn't mind that. Glad James is better.
177
Oh, man! You all had to do a Spoon video. Thankfully, you all do your research well and present to us a very brief history of what made what you are presenting great. Good video and maybe now you could do TRD?

I was almost in tears remembering the early 2,000's. I enjoyed the manga and show for a long time. It was one of the reasons I started loving cars. Thank you for making this episode and sharing the story of DoriKen.

Hey, James! Great video about one of Japan's best sedans. I remember seeing one in Japan and the owner was blown away that I wanted to ride in his car. Luckily, he romped on it and that single turbo 1J was... Yeah, it was like being in a 2JZ Supra. Fast and I enjoyed it. The R33, GT-R was a better car. Back to the Chaser though. There's people building up Cressida cars in the USA like their Japanese counter parts. Same with the old Crowns. Thankfully, Toyota classic RWD cars have a large following in the USA. As, one day I plan to build another one of these cars. Thank you, Donut Media and team. (:

Good history lesson, as always. The best part for me was your S15(Silvia) reference. Thank you. (:
145
I need to admit I am shocked the Snap-On was second. Let’s think about this. For almost 3 times the price we’d expect it to have won 🥇 out in some of these tests. Maybe it’s all in the name?

V6 engines are great, like any other engine. Nissan has been producing amazing engines for a many many years. So of course this modern piece of engineering would be wonderful. Thank you for sharing and I am glad I watched this episode.

Watching this video put me in an emotional state. I love Honda Type-R vehicles and they are one of the reasons I got into cars when I was young. Especially the NSX-R. I remember driving one and wow was it amazing to experience a car like that. Till this day no other car has given me that kind of exhilaration. Okay enough with the memories.
103
Great redo because you’ve gotten better James. Appreciate these redoes. (:

The CR-X, was and is still one of the greatest Honda cars of the early V-TEC days. I lusted for one for a while but alas the Civic Sedans and Hatchback did just fine. (:
93
I am glad to see him giving back. Usually that's the best use of someone's success. (:
68
The NSX, was such a dream car for a long time for me. Especially, after being able to taste the NSX-R. It wasn’t that much faster than an NSX but it felt more track and handling focused.
66
Lesson: don’t sue German companies. ;)
64
I was surprised how much my mates from down under love V8 muscle! I understand this more now. I can't say I blame them. There's nothing like an NA V8. Well, except for a Lexus V10 that's naturally aspirated. (:
63
Congratulations! You’re definitely helping someone like me live his dreams of Lamborghini cars. Glad, you to test drive the Performante model. Hope you get to make a video like this again.
59
I’ve never cared for American muscle cars of the past. Now, I am interested. (:
57
I remember doing this for the first time on an old Honda. It was one of the best upgrades I ever made and I agree on the impact it’ll make to your driving feel.
57
I've been following this series myself and I wasn't too surprised. So many people talked trash because the new Supra is basically a BMW. But now that we can see how well engineered BMW engines are people may give the Supra the respect it deserves. I for one think Toyota did a great job with this new car. Now if only everything else about BMW cars was as reliable as their engines. ;)
56
Exactly, confidence flows with His words. (: That or he is well studied. (:
55
I enjoyed this a lot as it really helped me understand what the impact of electric cars is. I agree with Nolan and I may daily an electric car but I will always have a place in my heart for something that goes vroom. Especially if it's a V8. ;)
55
Most of my dream cars are older cars. Which means I’ll be putting work into the car anyway. If the body was put back well enough that it ran for years then it’s probably okay and I would buy a SALVAGED title car as a fun project.
48
Every time I see one of these older Mustangs I think about my god father. He had an old Mustang that he converted to a 302 V8 with 4 to the floor. He didn’t stop there. He built that 3, 0, 2 to rev. With a cam profile that made great power once you hit about 4k on the tach. It was an tour de force till about 6500-6800 Revolutions. At which point you would shift and go thru that surge of power all over again. I wish he had never sold it. And, when he did my story about a built old Mustang comes to an end.
46
I’m not surprised James got the engine out in one day. It’s not that hard. Especially with a helping hand. Good video and who’s excited for the Turbo Kit?
46
I have seen several of my buddies use cheap short shifters. They always break or do more damage than good. I am glad to see Zach buying quality parts for the Miata. It helps that Donut Media is probably fronting some of the coats as well. 😉
45
If this is how this channel started then stay how you are now. Your characters are way funnier now. That could also be because you've had time to perfect your skills on camera though. As many others keep saying, "I miss Bart as well."
44
I bet he rehearsed this for a little while.
42
@MJT-DA TRUTHS!! Of our European brethren. LOL
38
Of course not. Why would you? It’s a part of LA. 😉 😂
36
I thought the Aztek was a great vehicle that never got the response it deserved. The Neon was also a great car. Especially the twin cam engines. Now the Miata, is a car that people appreciate. At least my circle of friends do.
36
I am lost Bart. But, that’s okay. You are a good teacher. Love the silly humour. Good video on Boxer Engines. I was surprised that Karl Benz was the inventor. Keep em coming.
35
That’s a beautiful car with a beautiful story as well. Congratulations on finding this great piece of American engineering.
33
It looks so beautiful. It's way better as a daily hot hatch than the last model was. Here's to another great Honda Type-R model.
32
I like Lewis Hamilton as a person and race car driver. And to see him have to compete without unlimited funds sounds like a blast to watch. I wonder if these caps will work?
24
I still prefer manual transmissions. In So-Cal, traffic though ??? I’ll take a manual as my daily vehicle.
24
@louisvanbastenbatenburg8649 That's a good buy and enjoy it. (:
