If Mazda brought back the WANKEL engine, I would be excited to see that performance. Here are my fingers crossed for a modern Wankel engine one day.

Yeah but flames š„ out the pipe looks š cool.

Debaditya Saha Disorders are good. (:

I wasnāt surprised by the results and he set us up for this perfectly. (:
22
KnightsWithoutATable LOL, funny. Then, the license plate will say āmywlletā!
21
Great explanation. I was wondering how they did that 4WD drive system. I would imagine it works well to help that car handle amazingly.
20
30 PSI. That was epic boost years ago. Now, manufacturers are doing it. Awesome, how long will those engines last? Hmmm?
19
Iāve driven cars with that 8 speed. Heās absolutely right about the performance. Itās an amazing DCT, wait I meant automatic transmission.
12
I have been wondering what those actually did for years now. Thank you for letting me know. I'll get one for a newer car that has direct fuel injection.
12
Oh god I remember an OLD FART telling to run a THICK A$$ oil like that in my old Prelude. :(
11
Looks interesting and you did a great job of explaining this. Hence your channels name. ;)

Jason, great overview of the car. I like how you went deeper into the engineering of the car. I like the car and appreciate a lot of the engineering being put into. Part of this is Gordon Murrayās talk and thoughts on making an exotic car. Letās see what the car will do when reviewers have access to the cars.

Jeffiekins Glad, to hear. I love rotary engines but wouldnāt want the reliability issues. :(
8
Ignorance This I agree with and understand.
8
I loved your little humour insertions from time to time on this video. Whether intentional or not, you had me laughing sir. Good explanation as always.
7
Thatās a great engine. š

A straight 39 weight. ;-)
6
Ā @datsuntoyyĀ Never say never right?
6
Jason, glad you like the GR 86. Will you be trading your S2000 for a GR 86?
6
David Turk I would hope the back. š
5
Ā @jakubcislo8029Ā BUT, of course. What we put into something we'll get back. Thank you for your input.
5
Makes sense rightfully and I bet theyāll be using this.
5
I have always liked BMW engines. They are some very well engineered drive trains. My concern is all the other items falling apart. My buddies 2001 M3 is mechanically sound. Something, else always seems to be breaking though. LOL

Very cool. I like how this was explained. It makes perfect sense. It would be great if more manufacturers started using this type of cooling in their cars.
5
Eduardo Diaz I will agree with you that maintenance is higher with a Mercedes automobile. And, part of the reasons they are cheap to purchase at times is people will dump em when the maintenance piles up. They are phenomenal cars especially their AMG cars. Thank you as well for adding to this space.
5
He doesnāt own a BMW. š

Jason, I am glad someone else understands these facts and presents them in simple terms. This makes sense and I felt empowered listening to you.
4
Leo Stone How does it crank over? With some Hymm and Haa!
4
Ā @steveavant9727Ā LOL š Wasnāt that Brutus?
4
Ā spike spiegelĀ Explain please?
4
Larry Tortellini Iāve been telling people what you said for years now about the rotary engines. Thank you sir!
4
One of your best explanations ever. Sometimes, the explanation is so technical I get incredibly lost. But, this was one was easy to follow and understand. Thank you.
4
I was thinking this and Benz used it well. Hope it works well in a gas powered engine.
4
LOL, I remember when synthetic oil revealed my oil leaks in an old Toyota I had. I blamed the oil as well. Sad but true.
4
That's too short and wouldn't have made for a good video. ;)
4
LOL, good joke and thank you.
3
Ā @GiordanDiodatoĀ I've heard of cooking oils but Olive Oil??? I guess it is a cooking oil.

I liked your changes in the videos. That made this video very entertaining. I also enjoyed how you explained this engine and glad you are doing well.

Ā @PrimeProductionsULTDĀ There's nothing like a GM push rod engine. I like that you shared your story. I've seen plenty of Corvettes with over 200k miles. Congratulations on your long term vehicle as well.
3
What is ZDDP?
3
Ā @gwagb27Ā That's what the warranty is for yeah.
3
Jingle YaBombz I agree with you. It is a Mercedes Benz engine. (:
3
I had heard of that hydrogen engine before but didn't know if they had actually built it. Will be good to see what they do with the rotary engines in the future.
3
David Maudlin Very cool š. Looks like you know the car.
3
Larry Tortellini Ahhh š±. That makes sense and I knew they were two stroke style engines. Thus burning oil is a thing with these. Good info and thank you.
3
I am a fan of push rod engines. Especially since I like V8 engines. (:
3
Heās probably selling it as heās got plans for something amazing. (:
