Hey Ben, keep the factory color. That's a gorgeous color and it'll look sick if you are planning to keep the car stock-ish looking. As for the BLACK interior to each their own. I like the Tan and Black combo a lot and it's extremely tasteful. For wheels and upgrades the skies the limit for you. What I am glad to see is that you have already swapped the engine to a K series. That's a great platform and congratulations on the find. Oh and especially such a clean example. ;)

Thank you Advanced Auto Parts and you gentleman. These are great trips and I enjoy watching them. I love traveling thru the USA as there's so much to see. Hopefully you all do make road trip videos with shorter distances. I'd like to see some of the Eastern US. Keep these videos coming and as a fan I appreciated the shout out. (:

The RX8 and FD are my favorites rotary powered Mazdas. I'm excited to see 190 HP at the dyno. More would be better but I doubt it. Thank you Short Ben for keeping these rotary powered dreams alive.

I love watching this series of videos. This Civic went from a basic car to an amazing track weapon. Now you are doing this again. Very impressive to say the least. I don't know if you'll win from the gates but I'm routing for you Sir Ben!

I like that youโre breaking this series up into parts. Itโs like a little drama series. Good work and I am dreaming again about a Honda build. (:
38
If that car was to sit for 20 years you'd be kicking yourself still. It's great that you've let it go. Now you can concentrate on other projects. Good luck sir.
30
Exactly. This is their business and we enjoy seeing this progress. ๐
26
"Life's easier with friends." Of course it is and of course a lift. (: Good video sir. I enjoy your videos mostly for the knowledge you all share with us during the builds. Thank you ben and Ben.
24
Casually planned and completed. LOL๐

I am always blown away when someone wants to sell their cars for what they've put into it. If you don't have the passion or the bucks to drop into a money pit then it's best to not play. Hence why I don't play with cars anymore. (:

At first when this video started and there was no sound, I was taken back. Then I relaxed into the euphoria of watching someone detail a car. I dreamt of having a car like this and having it detailed to this shine. And I really liked that you added the music at the end. That was a good way to foretell us that the video was about to conclude. Good work today and I am excited for the next one.

Both of these car models are reliable. They probably didnโt service them to pay respect to their sponsors. They do make a lot of stops at Advanced Auto Parts. ๐
18
Iโve told several of my friends this exact story. Building a car is about your personal love to complete a project. Economics wise itโs pointless.
17
I love this era of cars. To see there's plenty of fun them still puts a smile on my face. I hope to enjoy an e36 m3 one day.
15
I knew the joke at the end was coming. I do love the Best Motoring throwbacks. โค Ben L, glad you are alive and well. Hope Laanaa comes back better than ever before. DSM yo! ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ
12
Thatโs like a lot of other channels and their random projects.
10
This was a beautiful ending to a beautiful series. I was very impressed with the results that you had on the dyno and glad that all these other mods were made. You are helping me to dream again and that is a good thing.
10
Great way to compare these two cars. I was very impressed and I would find myself owning a WRX again. (:
9
Was this a joke???
9
What gave us that idea? ;)

I have been watching you all for years now. I've never felt so good about a video of yours. Because seeing you all attempt to daily this "good car" has been rewarding. I have been thru a little bit of work with my old Chevy and like you all. It drives great and is a lot of fun to drive. Hopefully daily driving it will help with these improvements. ๐ ๐๐

Great Build and video quality sir. I am impressed. I donโt care much for a Civic Type-R but would love to complete an EG sedan one day. (Is a project car ever done?) And this video really is helping me see that itโs certainly possible to build a car as I want it one day. Thank you.

I felt like those tears at the end were tears of joy. Congratulations sir on the new rear end from a Ford with a GM pedal. A proper high revving Honda power plant on a beautifully designed Mazda shell. (: I'm excited to see what you all come up with next.
7
It was great to see that an electric PS can be added to this older platform. I was impressed with the results myself. I didn't think it would be that easy to modify. Excited to see what new RX7 content you all produce.
7
For some reason. Lately my favorite car videos have been these car washing videos. Thank you gentleman for sharing this. Also to the team for explaining what they were doing during the cleaning process. I felt like I learned something today.
7
Grounds are the culprit for so many failures. Seen this be a fix on a lot of my cars, including my current one. Congratulations Ben on your 500+ horsepower beast. This was a worthwhile project.
7
I was surprised by how he destroyed the exhaust. Hmmm
7
What impressed me was the custom harness. That was amazing work. Now to be real I was disappointed by your teaser about racing but you are a T.V. show. Thus you have to let us know what is coming. ;)
7
That would be epic. LOL
6
Yeah same here.
6
Good moral boost. I would appreciate said comments after a weekend like this one. ๐
6
That roll bar looks awesome. I am excited to see what kinds of times this car will pull. I doubt itโll beat that Civic build. What about a 2ZZ with the 6 speed in the future?
6
Subaru and Mitsubishi Motors, make great cars. I wouldnโt take such heavily modified cars on a long toad trip. To each their own though.
6
That's what I was thinking. :(
5
Thank you for stating this. I am glad you saw this and made us aware of it. (:
5
I can see younger and older people doing this. There's a reason Lowrider culture has existed since the 60's in the USA. It's good to see others going this route as well and attempting to make their mark in the car culture.
5
Yeah that was a gnarly wreck. :(
5
Amen ๐! That's a beauty and needs her OG platform.
5
I love seeing the progress of this Civic. It ignites my dreams to see your dreams coming alive. Now to see you succeed at the track.
5
That was a lot of fun to watch. I hope you'll continue to do events like this one. I am wondering what the factory was thinking making these cars so stiff?
5
Congratulations ๐พ๐๐๐ Ben. I hope that car lasts and so does your wallet.
5
Yeah I thought that was silly as well. You get an FC or FD if you want to experience a rotary.
5
I heard to swap a 20B is a massive undertaking. Is this true?
5
That'll be one of your best builds Ben. I'm excited to see what you all do. (:
5
I felt the same way and I hope he continues to build it as he pleases. (:
5
They are good engines and if a person learns the platform well, they are very reliable. I would say this is RE Amemia is in existence. (:
5
Yeah exactly. It was like a moment of Zen watching Him work.
5
Ray GlassWorks Nope MEN do too.
5
Yeah agreed. This is what I was thinking when watching this episode. (:
5
Cars don't make me happy but driving them fast does. (:
