Yes, because they have a population of over a billion people. Also, the US allows Chinese companies to build factories in the country since it would mean more jobs.
3
Huan Huang Both governments had their flaws and poverty just happened to be a problem in both. British were incompetent and Chinese doesn’t care.

李巍 China is basically destroying the city for no reason.

They will.

DARPA 222 They still do, just not for Chinese orders anymore

Mindo Renno nope

Because it’s a convenient location, fast, and cheapest. Plus China was giving Tesla incentives so why not.

Yes and it was made in a lab

This factory is fully owned by Tesla, China has no ownership.
1
It was great until she locked everything down over 3 cases...

Hong Kong is in Asia, so the cars made in the factory will be imported to Hong Kong. But there won’t be a factory in Hong Kong since it’s not really necessary.

While lots of their revenue might be based from China, it is highly unlikely Tesla will become a Chinese company outright. It will most likely stay as a fully American company.

Free Speech He wouldn’t be looking for a factory location in Europe then. He would be slowing down production in Fremont, but he’s not. He is not doing that.
1
Guess Who No it won’t. If you buy in America, it will be made in America. If you buy in China, it will be made in China. That’s all, nothing’s changing here.
1
And the SCMP reported this??? I’m shocked.
1
If they don’t do this Hong Kong would just become another communist city in China. No freedom whatsoever.
1
technatezin China literally blocked all foreign websites. And you’re saying China has freedom?
1
technatezin You do realize China’s GDP is $12 trillion right? What kind of developing country is that? The Chinese government doesn’t care about its people whatsoever. Censorship is only in place so they can brainwash the general population. China doesn’t want people to know about the Tiananmen Square massacre, for example. Plus, VPNs aren’t free, and China has blocked several of them with no legit reason.
