JrVtec The claim that EVs are, “Zero Emissions” are BS. But... gasoline cars are way worse for the environment than electric cars... Why? Gasoline comes from oil, and electricity can come from many things... like coal, solar, and wind... You might think that the grid is completely coal, but that’s not entirely true... there is a mix with solar, wind, and coal... all is used. But forget it. What if the grid is completely coal? Well... EVs don’t have a tailpipe while gasoline cars do. That means, when you fuel up your gas powered vehicle, you are polluting. When you drive it, you’re still polluting! While EVs only pollute when they charge. And I’m pretty sure you’re driving way more than charging. But the grid isn’t even entirely coal. Plus, you can put solar panels on your roof and just use that instead! And one more thing. People complain how dirty the battery is. But in reality, lithium only covers 2% of the actual battery, which is the only dirty mineral...
