  3. I don't know how any of the kids that make it out would trust their parents again... but the hard question it comes down to... If the parents actually knew what was happening in these 'camps', would they still send their kids there? I would hope the parents feel ashamed once they find out.

I don't understand why the Australian Government hasn't jumped in and said "sweet, sentence him, then he can serve time in Australia", and after a year or 2 we would just release him on good behaviour because he hasn't broken any of our laws. We fight tooth and nail to get drug dealers back from Indonesian prisons, but we just essentially left a journalist to be torn to bits with no support. This is embarrassing for our country.
