  1. i have been watching bathurst 1000 since 1978 and yes its an iconic event its better than NASCAR where you see cars going around and around for about 50 laps or so but Bathurst 1000 is different its one of two sporting events that stops the nation the other is The Melbourne cup

  4. Who remembers the shortest bathurst 1000 in racing history i think it was in 1981 when nearly all the cars got into a pile up on top of the mountain
