  1. The contradictory nature of attraction. She should sleep with me regardless of if she wants to but if she doesn't pretend to enjoy it (probably because she has no desire) then it's a chore. She's screwed if she sleeps with me or if she doesn't. She is awful if she waits for chad with whom she has a genuine desire and she's stuck up because she should just take any man who desires her ( no need to desire him back). Sexless marriages happens when women get married to people they don't want. And yet the internet would have us all choosing permanent partners at 18 without any thought as to whether we'll want this person after the year or even at the night of the honeymoon. Some of the men here will even refer to their own children as "her kids". As if they had nothing to do with it. In this sense, I think women are much more future leaning than men. We know what comes after the sex and that children cost a lot of money and we have to consider finances before the sex. Sex is not just a pastime.

The uncomfortable truth is that sometimes men like the dependent woman more than the independent one because they believe a dependent woman will never have the wherewithal to leave them. The comment section is filled with men encouraging men to go to poor countries to choose less educated, less financially well-off, and less competent women. So I think it comes down to choosing what works for you. You can't choose a child and expect her to behave like an adult.
