I think that just the opposite is true. As the science evolves, we can see more clearly and correctly that there are barries which are impassable and never will be passed, just because we learn better from the past. The modern science is just about 400 years old and it passed a long way in its progress of improving science methods

There's nothing to worry about. We are tiny, but living matter, especially our brains, are the most complex structure in the whole Universe. Stars and galaxies are extremely primitive structures when compared to living matter
