@FactStorm Thank you. One time, a guy from L.A. told me that he left his bike on a second-floor balcony, thinking that it would be safe–it was stolen anyhow! 🙄🙄 Rural America can be different. I remember being in a small town, in Michigan: a big bike was just lying there, in a front yard, with nobody around. My brother and his family live in rural Wisconsin; they'll leave their house unlocked. Granted, they do have a dog out front.

Starting in the 1st grade, I'd walk about a mile to school. Also, I'd often walk home for lunch, when nobody was around. My mom thought nothing of it. In fact, if the weather was nice, she'd kick us out, and say, "It's a beautiful day! Get out, and don't come home until dinner time!" Times have changed. 🫤
