  1. Honestly the head movement Jiri displayed was enough to give Alex problems. But the absolute lack of defense from his hands will always ruin him. Wish MMA didn't have such a grudge against boxers because a lot of mma guys are getting KOed by the most AMATEUR of defensive mistakes. Head movement helps, but against Pereira who respects the sport of boxing, Jiri will lose 10/10 times. It may seem like a small deal, but keeping your hands down against dangerous strikers is just dangerously unnecessarily and will KO him each and every time. Joe's TKD and BJJ expertise matters little, there's a reason he never competed.

  3.  @pwehDuraSaFace  to think you can beat a leg kick advantage from a kickboxer after already starting late in the mma game is insane though. Jiri didnt lose via leg kick even if it contributed to the final outcome, i think the position of his hands prior to the headkick, shih as a matter of fact during the entire fight, didnt help him in any way. Doesnt matter if your opponents dont know where your jab is coming from if their headkick puts you to sleep for having your defense completely lax.

  6. ​ @hectormarin7044 he got the message across it took longer and isnt as smooth as someone who might have taken a college class in translating. Saying this as a fluent spanish speaker who knows it isnt exactly easy to translate on demand. Joey got the message across for 13 mins lol

  7.  @Bosh783  i dont see how a guy who got finished twice had a close fight. That fight was an absolute domination on Pereiras part. In the first fight Pereira KOed him going back, and in the 2nd fight Pereira slept Jiri moving forward. Pereira literally chooses how he's going to KO Jiri, you just saw different takes on the same fight. You really think Jiri beats Pereira in a third fight? I dont, but I want Pereira to reach all time GOAT status and Jiri is another easy title defense.
