  1. Visiting Japan is 100% about the culture, and then that unfolds into the visual experience. It is not a theme park or social media toy. Learn the culture and be a good guest, that is the platform for treasured memories and not "influencers" acting like predators for youtube and instagram clicks at all costs. Its not the kind of place to just go with no understanding of the culture. My personal kawaii experience was talking with elderly Japanese and making a genuine human connection and trying to be a reason for them to speak well of tourists.
